This Privacy Policy explains what data Ozil AI (ozilai.com, "we", "us") collects when you use the site, why we collect it and what choices you have. Ozil AI is an independent fan tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Mesut Özil, any club, league or broadcaster.

What we collect

• Account data. You sign in with Google or with your email address. We store your email address, your name and, if you use Google, the profile picture your Google account provides.
• The photo you upload. The photo you choose to create a video.
• Your videos and requests. The videos we generate for you and the details of each request, such as its status and the credits used.
• Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive order details such as the product, amount and payment status. We never see or store your card number.
• Technical and usage data. Your IP address and browser information, recorded by our sign-in system and servers for security, and basic analytics about how the site is used (for example pages visited, browser and device type).
• Messages you send us, for example support emails.

How your photo is processed

• When you create a video, your photo is sent to our AI video provider, a third-party video API, only to render your video. We do not save a copy of your photo in our own storage.
• The finished video is stored in our cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) so you can download it again.
• We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.
• You can ask us to delete your videos or your account at any time by emailing support@ozilai.com from the email address on your account.

How we use your data

• To run the service: sign you in, render and store your videos, and manage your credits.
• To process payments and refunds.
• To prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service, including refusing or removing content that breaks our rules.
• To understand and improve the site through basic analytics.
• To answer your questions.

We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers we need to run Ozil AI, and only for that purpose:

• our AI video provider (your photo and the render request);
• Cloudflare (storage of generated videos);
• Stripe (payments);
• Google (only if you choose to sign in with Google);
• our hosting, email delivery and analytics providers.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our users, the public or the service.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in. Our analytics tools may also use cookies or similar technologies.

How long we keep data

• Account data: while your account is open.
• Generated videos: we keep them so you can download them again, until you ask us to delete them or close your account.
• Payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require, even after you close your account.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email support@ozilai.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Ozil AI is only for people aged 18 or older. Do not upload photos of anyone under 18. If we learn that we hold data about a minor, we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. When they do, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
